What working with Double H Marketing looks like, from discovery to delivery

Before we touch any technology, we want to understand who you are. That’s how a project with us runs, from the first conversation through to delivery.

Stage one: Discovery

We start each project with an in-person visit, wherever that’s possible. We want to see what’s causing pain, what’s stopping you from reaching your goals, and what “good” looks like for your business. We also want to understand your culture, because for the length of the project, we’re an extension of your team.

Every project also gets a project manager on our side, and we ask you to allocate one on yours. That means the right people are talking to each other from day one, with ownership clear from the start.

Stage two: Planning

Once we understand the goal, we map backwards from it. What’s the end state, and what has to happen to get there? From that, we start eliminating paths that are either unfeasible or too expensive for the value they’d deliver. What’s left becomes the project schedule.

That approach means the plan is built around your outcome, with each deliverable earning its place. It also means we can tell you early where your budget will have the most impact, before it’s spent.

We also use Asana to run our project schedules, and we give clients access to their project so that we can collaborate. You can see who’s working on what, and when, at any point. If something’s likely to cause a delay, our expectation across the team is that it gets flagged early, so there are fewer surprises.

Stage three: Deliver and implementation

Our team is made up of the people doing the work, so when you ask a question, you’re talking to the person building your solution. That means a direct answer, and the project moves forward faster.

We also see ourselves as a positively opinionated partner. If we think something could be done better, we’ll say so. We work best with clients who want a partner willing to push back and suggest a better way.

Stage four: Enablement and training

The most important part of any project is custimised training and upskilling to show you and your team how to use the project getting forward. We deliver the project so that you have the confidence to administer the platform inside your organisation, so you have full control of your platform and your data.

Our overall approach: Adaptive project management

Complex projects don’t always run to plan. Sometimes the project scope changes through the project, shifting priorities impact approval timings or third-party dependencies might hold up the project. If that happens, we sit down, work through what happened, and mutually agree a path forward.

Communication is what keeps a project on track when it’s under pressure, more than any tool or process.

If you’d like to see what a project with us looks like, let’s talk.
